This was a book written by Barack Obama. His reasoning behind writing the book is still unclear to me, even after reading it and his own statements it in the introduction and prologue. My only summation was that it may give him some street cred with black voters. As I read through the garrulous chapters (of which read as his speeches sound, romantic and enrapturing,) I realized that the only difference between the book and his speeches are that the book has an extreme unabashed theme of racism as oppose to zero substance. Accordring to Obama, whites are the cause of all the blacks poor attitudes, as well as their overall destitute existence on this planet.
The book starts out talking about the life he lived in Hawaii and Indonesia. He hears stories about his absent father and weaves a fantasy tapestry in his mind about his African father while he continually bashed his white grandparents and says little to anything about his single white mother. Obama's grandmother "Toot," is frightened by a black man who harasses her in the wee hours of the morning while waiting for the bus to take her to work. Barack is angered by this because he believes his Grandmother is a "typical white person" and reacting as a racist. I'm sorry, if I am alone waiting for public transportation anywhere at anytime and a man of any race harasses me, I am going to get licensed to start carrying my pistol.
Then Barack Obama goes on to talk about going to college, the very same college that is #1 nationally rated as the most left-winged, liberal university of all time... Occidental College in Los Angeles. He got there on a scholarship only because his racist grandmother (who braved public transportation to her job every morning, while his cool grandfather went to all black bars, to drink and shed is "white guilt") made sure Barack went to the most prestigious prep school in Hawaii.
At one point he makes a statement that President Reagan was historically the worst president of all time. Not Ulysses S. Grant, the notorious drunkard, or any other presidents who allowed slavery to continue uncontested.
Then Obama talks about his time in Chicago and Africa, basically to point out that the whites had brought about all there troubles by taking the "good jobs" away from the minorities and how British colonialism destroyed the true and authentic Africa. Which if history serves me right, Africa was divid up by several European nations. The same nations he paraded around a couples of weeks ago trying to soothe and appease! He also talks about his first meeting with Reverend Wright, and the very first sermon he had ever heard from Rev. Wright called "The Audacity of Hope," which had an IRS agent been sitting in the pew that Sunday they would have immediately return to the office Monday morning and yanked his "church's" tax-exempt status. The same stuff we have seen on the news and of which political commentator Glenn Beck aired full sermons so they would be put into "context" were no different then than until Rev. Wright retired. Rev. Wright never changed, in fact he makes Obama look like the chameleon he truly is.
Obama is constantly talking about his struggles as a "black man" all the while living in Hyde Park in Chicago, of which is a majority (43%) white neighborhood... as oppose to Altgeld Gardens (a project that was founded by the democrat John Peter Altgeld!) where Barack used to work as an organizer and the majority population in a whopping 97% black! One of the highest percentages in the US! Why wouldn't Barack choose to "struggle" with his "brothas and sistas"? Oh I forgot, because his ideas of struggling are things like being punished with babies and paying taxes.
The sheer pomposity of the man never ceases to end. I will be reading his other book: The Audacity of Hope. I will be giving a review and concurrently read Hitler's Mein Kampf and try to compare/contrast the two.

Liberalism: The new medieval Catholic church
As the ever changing and naturally homeostatic evironment of "mother earth" becomes the forefront of the liberal religion, our liberties will become more and more threatened. See? what did I tell you? Eventually for the cause of saving the planet you will no longer be able to divorce your partner. While I am by no means an advocate for divorce, I do believe that certain circumstances warrant divorce proceedings.
Doesn't this all sound familiar though? The Catholic church during medieval times told people they couldn't divorce. The "evil" Christians didn't want anyone to smoke... now smokers are slowly losing the right to smoke inside their own homes as a direct result of liberal legislating, Before long smoking will be under attack as a cause of global warming if it hasn't already. Some religions also have dietary restrictions, and soon we won't be able to eat cow meat because cow farts are one of the major factors in global warming and therefore farming cows for food and dairy product will be prohibited. This is only going to get worse folks.
The same Catholic church was against birth control measures and told all the catholics in order for them to be good little zealo ...er, I mean Catholics they had to have many children. The liberals want you to put off having children, and when you cave to your barbaric impulse of wanting children you are to limit the amount children to one or none. One liberal woman had an abortion to "save the planet" and then had herself sterilized. Good for her, at least she did humanity a favor by not reproducing again, but murder of an unborn with justification of being enviromentally friendly is just sickening. If she really cared about the environment in the first place she would have never gotten pregnant, she would have sterilized herself before her evironmentally destroying baby "accidentally" happened to conceive itself.

Warm Earth, Part 2: Power-tripping elitists
The government thinks it knows what’s best for us and therefore they must know what is best for the environment. Carbon taxing, stripping ordinary citizens of any type of transportation, and preventing advancement of Nuclear power in this country is going to slow climate change? The weather is something that a weatherman can hardly predict, let alone control. The government is furious that they can not control the weather so what is the next thing they want to control? Us, the Mr. and Mrs. Joe Schmoe’s of America. That is what global warming means to our government, an opportunity to bring in extra revenues and of course to surpass Britain in being the ultimate nanny-state, as well as join up the One World Government(aka, the U.N.) under the guise of “Saving our planet.”
According to the government, carbon taxing is the answer to all our global warming problems. At least Al Gore and the Democratic controlled congress seem to think so… when is China going to start taxing their 1.3 billion people, as well as their polluting factories (of which are apparently hazardous to our children’s health, big shocker there) to curb their fossil fuel appetite? No, we evil American peasants have a vicious appetite for environmentally destroying our planet, at least that is what the elites in inside the Beltway think (and maybe some outside too.) You know who they are, those people that get paid by our hard earned dollars to legislate all day long? When did they stop answering to their voters who grant them a payroll? And why do they demonize their constituents? I suppose that would be the reason congress now has an 11% approval rating, but I digress. So taxes, taxes, taxes. On to being told to be working stiffs and have only enough to work and pay fuel to go to and from work and never having enough to enjoy the spoils of working long stressful days.
A New tax introduced by the U.N. (who by the way is NOT our friend) called L.O.S.T.: Law Of the Sea Treaty, would tax everyone who steps foot in the ocean! All in the name of redistributing the planet’s wealth to countries that cannot sign Kyoto because they are too “poor.” Ok, I am all for giving to the poor as this is one of the teachings of Christ, but how can it be considered giving if it is being taken from me before I can get my hands on it?! By the way, do you want to know what LOST really stands for? L.O.S.T. = Loss Of Sovereignty Treaty. That is what this country will be if it becomes law... America and all that we have suffered and fought for the last two centuries will be lost. What if I planned on buying a hybrid with that money they are taking away to “give” to less fortunate countries?
Buying a hybrid will not save our planet. It will however save you money. That would be the only reason I would consider buying one, but until they make a hybrid that seats at least six people comfortably I will not even glance in the direction of one. You see, being a Christian woman, I have family to transport; therefore a bigger vehicle is necessary, but if they limit automakers on what they can make, then all of us who need more seats are S.O.L. The last bill the goverment had proposed on the issue was for a mandate of automakers to manufacture vehicles that maintained a MPG of 32 and above. When have you ever heard of a truck or SUV, or even a Mini-van being able to get that kind of mileage? Now if the auto industry is willing to do that by demand of the customer, more power to them, as that will surely be the case when fuel hits $4 a gallon. When the government sticks their big fat nose into capitalism, it no longer is capitalism. This in turn, creates an economy of which is government influenced.
How about nuclear energy and it's only byproduct is steam. They talk about nuclear waste when a the clear answer to that is to jetison it to the moon! Come on, is nuclear waste the only negative they can come up with? Nuclear energy is clean, powerful, and meets the needs of our developed nation. The answer here is again, control. If we cannot afford the petroleum bills in our everyday lives like fuel for our cars and natural gas to heat our homes then we are easier to oppress. They want to see us living in houses made of cow dung, force us to be vegans (yuck,) and ride bicycles, all of that would take care our obesity problem for sure!
So why do they tell us what to do? How is not spanking my children going to positively affect global warming? Seriously, a MA state senator presented legislation to the MA congress that would prevent parents from ever spanking their children. When that same senator was asked if he ever spanked his own children, what was his response? “That is none of your G. D. business!” There you have it folks… They really do think they are better than us.
The elites will do anything to make sure us, the peasants, stay peasants. They make sure we are controllable by legislating us to death. They know what is best for us and we are not to question it, that scent smells familiar…smells like socialism bordering very dangerously on communism. Global Warming is an excuse to implement it.

Warm Earth, Part I: Flat Earth?
I decided to break up in to pieces my thoughts on the idiotic ideas of “man-made global warming” simply because there is just to much to cover and I don't want to risk boring you, my readers. So here goes…
Warm Earth, Part I: Flat Earth?
There was a dark period in humanity where religion and monarchies ruled in tandem (and occasionally bickered over power issues) to keep subjects ignorant and oppressed. While many are quick to say it never happened (mainly the Catholic church!) we all know about the “Flat Earth” theory. Why are people calling us, those who laugh when the subject of man-made global warming is mentioned with any amount of seriousness, “Flat Earthers?” I submit to you that we are living in the early part of that era all over again when it comes to global warming.
Flat Earth theories arose from the Catholic Church out of their desire for power as well as their literal translations of Jesus’ words. By medieval times the church had become so corrupted by money and power, at that point the bible was not to be read by “inferior beings” and that it was only to be read and interpreted by men of God. When these supposed men of God translated Jesus’ words about spanning the globe converting the gentiles, He had mentioned the “four corners of the earth” and it was taken literally by those men of God. As a result, it was taught in the Catholic Church that the earth was flat.
Monarchies that submitted to papal authority did not dispute it. They used it as a tool of fear and wanted to keep those, whom talked of sailing to distant lands, under the control of the church and the monarchies. When it was proven that no one fell off the earth, the theory was quickly swept under the rug and only a few were left to defend it, and to this day there are still some that defend this loony and obviously counterfactual theory. So when we are being called flat earthers when it comes to global warming, it is suppose to be an insult, but to the contrary, those who did not let the all consuming fear-mongering of a flat earth hold them back discovered a whole new world.
It is, of course, overwhelmingly evident that we are in those beginning stages of the global warming theory as the flat earth was in that it is an unproven science that is being taught on a massive scale, recklessly, to the detriment of our very own existence. Much like flat earth theory was… the current global warming frenzy also bears the same fear-mongering. I surmise that in the not too distant future that there will exist a small few that will still believe that man made global warming is real… one of which I can already put money on will be Al Gore, the C- science student, who flies around in his own jet preaching to us about riding bicycles and wiping our fannies with leaves. As there is still a group out there that still believes without a doubt the earth is flat (see the following link: http://www.alaska.net/~clund/e_djublonskopf/Flatearthsociety.htm, yep they really do still exist!) I am sure in a few years Al Gore will be heading the “Man Made Global Warming Society” which will be primarily on the same internet he “invented.” Laughable indeed!
So please don’t be insulted when someone calls you a “flat earther” for laughing at their inane pre-programmed brainwashed ramblings about man made global warming. Just calmly let them know that those who were considered heretics or their time were actually right all along!

Journalists Make Me Laugh!
Current Journalism = Informing the Masses
Today’s standard of journalism can only be described as the best that has been seen since televisions inception. These courageous men and women known as “journalists” show our country what is truly meaningful in life. Sure they can’t be right all the time but it is what they do most of the time that counts! This country couldn’t survive without the constant updates we get from the television while living in the “Information Age.” While some beg to differ, a good explanation is in order here.
Our very democracy and political winds depend on it! So what if a respected journalist assured his own career death by proceeding to report a fabricated story about a sitting president that refuted his military service, just weeks before voters went to the polls? When the candidate of a particular party doesn’t cut the mustard, the party can depend on a biased media to come up with last minute fabrications and cross their fingers hoping it would change the direction of the country’s political winds. What mattered was throwing a presidential election, without this kind of drama, politics would be dead! Our young voters would have no reason to go to the polls each November if it wasn’t like some rendition of what happens on a weekly prime time Gen-X show. Or maybe the news story about a college professor, whose vehicle was vandalized by racists and sexist dolts, that got our attention and helped us all realize the real issues facing women and minorities. If it got us all thinking and talking about those ever important issues, it shouldn’t matter that the professor vandalized her own car. What mattered was she got her 15 minutes or so to lecture not from her usual lectern to naive students at an unknown college, but from the ultimate podium of national news to all of us stolid Americans on better treatment of women and minorities. Maybe it is the story about a soldier who fought and was injured in a nationally unpopular war, who denounced this country and the military by claiming various violations of the Geneva Conventions. It actually doesn’t matter that this person was never a soldier longer than a few weeks before being washed out of basic training, or that they had never stepped foot in an actual combat zone. The matter was refocusing anti-American sentiment in foreign lands and to bring about national self-odium, all in the interests of “bringing our troops home.” This is such a valiant cause that we should not judge or dispute their sources one iota. Why should any of this hurt national networks or journalists reputations? They were only doing what was right in “guiding” the citizens of this country who are just too dumb to know any better.
Our inability to think for ourselves is stupendous reason why journalism is surely needed in this day in age! Didn’t you know that refrigerators and central Air is making us lazy and fat? You would if you watched the news reports about how good we spoiled brats have it here in the Land of the Free. Therefore we must be much too lazy to be able to use the gray matter betwixt our ears. This is where our news media with their journalists come in to fill our heads with all the knowledge we need to know about the days events on how much more obese and inert we are all getting, and all the long-term affects that go along with being that way. Never mind the hard work it took to get us to the point where we could relax enough to make a beltlines a little more snug, just focus on the ideas that we will never be as skinny and active as the celebrities they gush about in breaking news stories through out the day.
Our everyday lives revolve around celebrities and therefore we must be apprised on in their lives everyday! A washed up singer stays in the headlines for over two years because we all had to know what she did that day that made her a horrible parent, or that her marriage was failing, or that she was going to lose her children because she couldn’t tame her wild side that craves all the media attention. Perhaps it was the jailbird heiress we love to hear about that kept us tuning in. We also love to see that actor whose religion now overshadows every aspect of his career and life because it all help us to feel better about the choices and decisions we make in our own lives, and who better to bring it to us than those national news networks that make it their living to distract the masses. In Rome circa 29 A.D., Gladiatorial shows were used to quell the underprivileged masses by distracting them, and keeping those masses from political unrest. The current spectacles of celebrities by no means Gladiator shows, but in essence it does the same thing. Those unhappy with the government or foreign relations can be entertained and distracted by these emaciated manifestations of the celebrity culture. Who better to do this for us than our very own free news media!
The current journalism is not without its flaws, but almost every aspect of journalists and their noble causes is to keep this country informed of the issues most important to us. There is a world-wide non-profit organization called “Reporters without borders” of which according to them in 2007, the United States ranked 48th on the “Yearly worldwide press freedom ranking of countries.” This ranking indicates that there are other countries that have far more freedom of press without government and non-government entities influencing and interfering with what eventually makes it to the audiences. That still shouldn’t keep us from turning on that television set to get the daily uplifting dose of what is going on in our nation and world.

Our inability to think for ourselves is stupendous reason why journalism is surely needed in this day in age! Didn’t you know that refrigerators and central Air is making us lazy and fat? You would if you watched the news reports about how good we spoiled brats have it here in the Land of the Free. Therefore we must be much too lazy to be able to use the gray matter betwixt our ears. This is where our news media with their journalists come in to fill our heads with all the knowledge we need to know about the days events on how much more obese and inert we are all getting, and all the long-term affects that go along with being that way. Never mind the hard work it took to get us to the point where we could relax enough to make a beltlines a little more snug, just focus on the ideas that we will never be as skinny and active as the celebrities they gush about in breaking news stories through out the day.
Our everyday lives revolve around celebrities and therefore we must be apprised on in their lives everyday! A washed up singer stays in the headlines for over two years because we all had to know what she did that day that made her a horrible parent, or that her marriage was failing, or that she was going to lose her children because she couldn’t tame her wild side that craves all the media attention. Perhaps it was the jailbird heiress we love to hear about that kept us tuning in. We also love to see that actor whose religion now overshadows every aspect of his career and life because it all help us to feel better about the choices and decisions we make in our own lives, and who better to bring it to us than those national news networks that make it their living to distract the masses. In Rome circa 29 A.D., Gladiatorial shows were used to quell the underprivileged masses by distracting them, and keeping those masses from political unrest. The current spectacles of celebrities by no means Gladiator shows, but in essence it does the same thing. Those unhappy with the government or foreign relations can be entertained and distracted by these emaciated manifestations of the celebrity culture. Who better to do this for us than our very own free news media!
The current journalism is not without its flaws, but almost every aspect of journalists and their noble causes is to keep this country informed of the issues most important to us. There is a world-wide non-profit organization called “Reporters without borders” of which according to them in 2007, the United States ranked 48th on the “Yearly worldwide press freedom ranking of countries.” This ranking indicates that there are other countries that have far more freedom of press without government and non-government entities influencing and interfering with what eventually makes it to the audiences. That still shouldn’t keep us from turning on that television set to get the daily uplifting dose of what is going on in our nation and world.

Clutzy Radio Personality Not Mugged by Conservative Radicals
What ever happened to Randi?
Air America host Randi Rhodes fell while walking her dog and immediately her cohorts are crying foul and demanding that right-wingers be held responsible for her “mugging” or “attack” in a supposed attempt to shut her up. Yet Ann Coulter, who addressed a university audience whom had invited Ann, is attacked by pie-throwers, and it was actually caught on tape nonetheless! This is indisputable evidence in a court of law and yet the DA dismissed any all charges against the assailants on a private citizen who was just exercising her right to “free speech.” Nothing was said about left-wingers conspiring to shut up a dissident voice, a voice that constantly (and quite literally) preaches “diversity” in thought. So why the double standard? Especially when one was real and the other was fake... Does Air America and those who accuse us, the conservative “right-wingers,” have egg on their face? Will the media continue to cover this story and let the public know what really happened to the woman who walks her animals at night in a city known for its anonymous crime? Will the American people ever know the truth that she, like many imperfect human beings had a moment of clumsiness and not attacked by some one wanting to shut her up to the small audience and following that Ms. Rhodes has? It would be more likely in the city of New York to be mugged for your wallet than to be mugged for saying something political. In the dark no less, where it would be near impossible to make out a face of a (drumroll please...) radio personality!
In an article by Indymedia, located on Indybay.org, states the following about the supposed mugging of this woman, “An Air America representative confirmed Tuesday morning that Rhodes was mugged. Calls have been made to Rhodes and the New York City police department's press office, and as more details become available they'll be reported here.” That is a pretty cut and dry statement about what happened, and yet the very same IndyBais has yet to come out with the truth.
How despicable and dirty can liberals get before they start having their “Nazi hunts,” similar to the witch hunts of Salem, Mass. If they would for just a minute break themselves away from killing unborn babies and supplying fresh needles to heroine addicts they could possibly do it, if there were really fascist Nazi right-wingers to hunt down. At least in the witch hunts of Salem the pilgrims pulled themselves straight away from what they were doing to fight “evil.” At least McCarthy knew for a fact that there existed commie spooks and had a pretty good idea where to look! The liberals have nothing but the truth as their enemies. That is one enemy that will never go away either, unless of course if Hillary is elected president…
